Venetian Golf & River Club is a new community in the beautiful city of Venice and located on the Myakka River. It offers a spectacular lifestyle and an outstanding range of homes.

Venetian Golf & River Club provides many amenities with 663 acres of the over 1,000 acre-span devoted to golf course, lakes, wetlands, conservation areas and a planned 70-acre nature park making it perfect for nature lovers.

The 18-hole championship golf course, which opened in May 2003, has received rave reviews! Designed by renowned golf course architect Chip Powell, it will present challenging holes in a delightful setting with wide, rolling fairways, challenging bunkers and treacherous traps all with five tee sets to challenge any player. The Golf Clubhouse will offer inside dining for 80 and outside seating for 40, plus a bar and a snack bar. In addition there will be a full-service pro shop which will offer the latest in golf equipment and clothing as well as lessons for the less accomplished golfer.

The River Club comprises a dining room with a seating capacity of 250 plus outside dining for another 50, as well as a full service bar and lounge. It also provides a fitness center and aerobics studio. It is sure to be the centre of a very active social scene!

The resort pool offers hours of fun and relaxation while the lap pool, with a planned five lanes, will provide an excellent workout alternative.

You can get into the swing of things at Venetian's planned tennis center, featuring six lighted courts. Adjacent to the River Club, players can work up a sweat then venture in for a victory cocktail or a jump in the pool.

The planned 70-acre Nature Park is inspired by Venetian's commitment to the environment and will feature a canoe launch allowing residents to unobtrusively observe the wildlife along the tranquil Myakka River. The nature trails will offer informational signage showcasing some of the other "residents" of Venetian you may see along the conservation areas.

Away from the Club, the city of Venice has much to see. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida can be reached within minutes, whilst for those who prefer something different, some of the world's finest shopping is available at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota and at the Sarasota Outlet Center.

The maintenance-free homes at Venetian Golf & River Club are offered in four Series with a choice 20 home designs providing a range of sizes and prices to cater for every need:

  • The Courtyard Series - Homesite Premiums $2,500 - $32,500
  • The Grand Villa Series - Homesite Premiums $20,000 - $42,500
  • The Classic Series - Homesite Premiums $25,000 - $95,000
