SOUTH GULF COVE
South Gulf Cove is becoming increasingly popular with people who want affordable waterfront property. Located just off Hwy 771 between Boca Grande and Port Charlotte it has an extensive canal system providing the residents with access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.

RENTAL OPPORTUNITIES

VACATION RENTALS:
Only permitted in certain locations due to planning controls and community regulations designed to protect residential areas.

"SNOWBIRD" RENTALS:
Winter occupants from the northern US and Canada on a monthly basis primarily from January to April. Only 2 bedrooms are required in most cases.

INVESTMENT RENTALS:
Many residents rent their home because they move regularly for employment or family reasons. 12-month rentals are the norm for this type of purchase, so rather than having to find 26 2-week bookings per year, your rent is guaranteed from the moment the initial rental is made.


RANGE OF PROPERTIES

HOMES:
Detached homes from 3 to 5 beds, 2 or 3 baths with pool. Most of these homes can be found on gated communities, often with golf course and community clubhouse.

VILLAS:
Detached, semi-detached or townhouse homes usually with 2 beds, 2 baths plus den (available as 3 rd bed). Villa residencies normally include room for small pool but have access to communal pool. Maintenance is generally free.

APARTMENTS:
Usually 2 bed, 2 bath, either low or high rise buildings with communal pool. Maintenance is free. Apartments are preferable if requirement to be within walking distance of the beach.
